HVAC Residential Service Tech - Experienced

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and/or propose replacement of warm air furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, geothermal systems, and ductless units including related venting, piping and electrical.
• Service and startup equipment, and adjust to the manufacturers and job specification.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise that would keep the equipment from functioning properly.
• Evaluate system performance and propose solutions to increase comfort and/or maximize equipment life and efficiency at every call.
• Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and owner’s maintenance of the installed equipment. Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions to the homeowner.
• Complete required documentation for each call, recording recommendations, repairs, accurate readings, equipment information including pictures and observations. Obtain customer signatures on all necessary paperwork and collect payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience required.
