HVAC Repair Technician

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintaining commercial package cooling systems on Cell Tower sites – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
  • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
  • Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
  • Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
  • Operating and maintaining a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Core Experience

  • Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
  • 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Physical/Work Environment

  • Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.
  • Candidates should reside in the Denver, Colorado area.
  • Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
  • Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
  • Occasional overnight required-company pays all travel costs and provides $50 per diem/per night.
  • Driving to remote work sites as needed.
  • Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
  • May need to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation

Starting at $62,400 up to $115,000 annual salary/DOE. At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
