Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, and commercial cooking equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Install and calibrate ventilation and appliance systems
- Ensure compliance with refrigeration, gas, electrical, and OSHA safety standards
- Work across a variety of equipment including walk-in freezers, chillers, ovens, fryers, exhaust hoods, HVAC units, and dishwashers
About the role
We're looking for a dependable technician to keep our kitchens and bakeries running smoothly. The position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
Requirements
Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of refrigeration, gas, electrical, and OSHA safety standards
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
