HVAC/R Technician II

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial buildings. Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform emergency repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions and inefficiencies.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
• Respond to customer requests for service during normal business hours.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC/R field.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Skills

• Proficient in using HVAC/R diagnostic tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
• Experience with refrigerant handling and disposal.
