Responsibilities
- Startup: Start up less complex equipment; assist higher level technicians with complex equipment and systems, gathering product info (Model #'s, Serial #'s, Belt, filter sizes).
- Diagnose and Repair: Assist more senior technicians troubleshooting problems and repairing them.
- Support for Operations: Assist with system flushing, TAB, setting PRV's, maintaining belts, greasing bearings and motors before turnover.
- Review of Submittal Documents: Verify equipment on job and submittal match voltage/amps/HP/etc.
- After Hours Work: Work overtime on occasion.
Requirements
- 20 hours of continued education.
- 5+ years' experience.
- EPA 608 Certification.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- NFPA 70 certification.
- Exposure to more complex system concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to develop the following skills through mentorship, continuing education and hands-on activity:

- Troubleshooting System Knowledge.
- Hydronic Systems.
- VRF Systems.
- Chiller Operation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
Travel Requirements
0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements
- Work Attire: NFPA 70 compliant uniform (1 set will be provided by the company, and replaced annually).
- Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
- Climbing stairs.
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Operating machinery and/or power tools.
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.
- Noisy environment.
- Light to heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects from 20-100 pounds.
Pay
USD $27.92 - USD $37.29 /Hr.
