Responsibilities
- Serves all system components such as motors, compressors, motor starters and controls, heat exchangers, steam traps, coils, dampers, and all drive accessories.
- Maintains all refrigeration circuits leak tight. Adds refrigerant as necessary.
- Adjusts equipment to assure peak operating efficiency.
- Performs complete pump overhauls, including shaft and bearing replacement.
- Maintains and troubleshoots pneumatic and electrical control systems.
- Performs miscellaneous soldering, welding, and burning as required.
- Performs preventive maintenance procedures as scheduled and directed by foreman.
- Completes all preventive maintenance and work order associated paperwork in a neat and timely manner.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma/GED
- 4+ years relevant experience required.
- CFC Recovery Certification required.
- Trade/vocational school and 0-1 years prior hospital experience preferred.
