HVAC Mechanic - New Home Construction

About the role

Sobieski New Homes is seeking a full-time Residential New Construction HVAC Mechanic to install heating and cooling systems in new homes. The ideal candidate will also assist in training HVAC helpers.

Responsibilities

• Install heating and cooling systems in new residential constructions
• Train HVAC helpers

Qualifications

• Licensed as a journeyman (preferred)
• 5+ years of new home construction experience
• Knowledge of applicable state codes
• Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction and ability to read blueprints
• Valid driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outside in various weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces
• Own hand tools regularly used by HVAC mechanics
