About the role
An HAVC Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial and residential HVAC systems. Work to be performed throughout Southern Arizona at US Border Patrol Stations.

Requirements
- Must pass the Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation
- Ability to perform most tasks of the craft without supervision
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction drawings, schematics and diagrams
- Ability to drive safely
- Trained in all types of sizes of air condition refrigeration and evaporative cooling equipment
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification to purchase and handle ozone depleting chemical as outlined in federal and state regulations
- Work in a team
- Boiler and Chiller experience a plus
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, constant arm extensions
- Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, but none to the point of being disagreeable
- May involve minor safety hazards where likely result would be cuts, bruises, etc
- Driving two to four hours daily

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $24.97-$30.00 per hour.
Schedule
Driving two to four hours daily.
