HVAC Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to join our Site Utilities Team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining the HVAC, refrigeration, environmental control, and utility systems that support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Support chilled water, cooling tower, glycol, ventilation, and environmental control systems.
• Maintain AHUs, RTUs, MAUs, exhaust systems, and associated controls.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control systems failures.
• Support facility utility systems and environmental infrastructure.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Assist with root cause investigations and reliability improvements.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC, refrigeration, industrial maintenance, or related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with Metasys, Siemens, Honeywell, Tridium, or similar BAS platforms.
• Experience with chillers, cooling towers, glycol systems, compressed air, steam systems, and VFDs.
