HVAC Mechanic

About the role

The HVAC Mechanic role is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to maintain first-class operating condition.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
• Maintain first-class operating condition of HVAC systems

Requirements

• Education: Apprenticeship and/or Post-secondary education with courses in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical wiring and controls, plumbing, blueprint reading, and/or boiler operation preferred
• License/Certifications: State License as a Boiler Operator, 3rd or 4th Class and/or Stationary Steam Engineer within one year of start date required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Experience: Three years of experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) or related field required

Qualifications
