HVAC Mechanic

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial buildings. Duties include diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and completing emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints regarding HVAC systems promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of HVAC system components and operation.
• Experience with HVAC installation and troubleshooting.

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
