HVAC Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of HVAC equipment.
• Performs minor controls repair or replacement.
• Assists in the descaling of equipment as required.
• Installs, repairs, maintains, and operates air conditioning equipment, refrigeration systems, water coolers, air compressors, vacuum systems, etc.
• Works with EMCS to ensure HVAC systems are monitored and controlled by EMCS.
• Performs preventive maintenance on AHUs, chillers, condensers, boilers, furnaces and pumps.
• Performs other duties as assigned in support of the customer and mission.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Universal EPA certification required
• Valid State Driver’s License
• Five (5) years of HVAC experience required (military experience may be substituted)
• Must be a US or Permanent Citizen due to contract requirements

Pay

The salary offered will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity, business needs, and other factors permitted by law. Schedule

This position requires the performance of on-call duties as well as shift work during the on-call period.
