About the role
This role is for an HVAC Service Manager who has already proven they can develop technicians, drive performance, and hold a high standard in a fast-paced residential service environment. You will be responsible for shaping the culture, performance, and results of our HVAC service team.
Responsibilities
- Lead from the field through ride-alongs, coaching, and real-time feedback
- Develop technicians into confident, consistent performers
- Reinforce expectations around sales, service quality, and customer communication
- Identify and correct performance gaps quickly and directly
- Partner with recruiting to attract and select top-tier talent
- Hold regular team meetings focused on performance, standards, and growth
- Ensure technicians are following processes, safety standards, and service expectations
- Work cross-functionally with leadership to drive business goals and profitability
Requirements
- 5+ years HVAC service technician experience
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role within residential HVAC or home services
- Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing technicians
- Strong technical HVAC knowledge and field credibility
- Prominent track record of improving team performance and driving results
- Ability to hold accountability without losing trust or respect
- Strong communication and decision-making under pressure
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar platform (strongly preferred)
- EPA certification required (additional certifications a plus)
- Comfortable being in the field daily (not a desk-based manager)

Pay
$90,000-$110,000 base salary depending on experience, with a performance bonus tied directly to gross profit and team outcomes.
