Key Responsibilities
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, and testing equipment.
- Diagnose system issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
- Check system components such as thermostats, electrical connections, condensate drains, motors, filters, and refrigerant levels.
- Identify potential issues and recommend repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and customer interactions.
- Follow company safety procedures and adhere to all local, state, and federal HVAC codes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about findings, recommendations, and system performance.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained and organized.
- Assist other team members and departments as needed to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or related field.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments (indoor/outdoor, attics, crawl spaces).
