HVAC Maintenance Technician

About the role

This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals with basic HVAC experience who are eager to grow their careers within the trade. You'll play a critical role supporting HVAC projects through field inspections, installation prep, equipment handling, and direct work with licensed technicians.

Responsibilities

• Aid licensed HVAC technicians with rebate project installations, HVAC tune-ups, and inspections related to energy rebate projects
• Transport and set up equipment and materials at job sites
• Collect documentation, take photos, and ensure data accuracy for rebate verification
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, coil cleaning, and duct sealing
• Communicate professionally with property managers, tenants, and homeowners
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures on all job sites
• Provide feedback to the Rebate Program Manager regarding field conditions and material needs
• Maintain organized tools and inventory on service vehicles
• Participate in ongoing training and development sessions

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience in HVAC, construction, or similar trades (required)
• EPA Certification Required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics or tight spaces
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
• Willingness to travel throughout the Austin area
