HVAC Licensed Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair building mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing).
• Respond to emergency and contract-related situations while on call.
• Collaborate effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including those with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly in both written and oral formats.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and federal security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• HVAC Refrigerant License (required).
• 3 years of experience as a licensed journeyman.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Excellent written, oral, and computer literacy skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a strong safety record.
• Ability to pass a security clearance administered through the National Archives and Records Administration.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $50.00 per hour.
• Health & Welfare Benefit: an annual health and welfare benefit amount of $10,587.20 that goes toward the payment of a health, vision and dental plan as well as life and disability insurance.
• Paid Time Off: 11 paid Federal holidays, 2 weeks of paid vacation (after one year of employment), 1 paid Float Holiday, 56 paid hours of paid sick leave.
