HVAC - Lead Install Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform the removal, installation, and startup of new residential HVAC systems
• Work closely with fellow Installation Technicians to provide clients with excellent service as outlined in department policies and procedures
• Maintain a high standard of clean-up before leaving any job site
• Ensure all necessary touch-up work and clean-up is completed before leaving the job site
• Work as a 2-person team to ensure timely and accurate service to clients in accordance with company standards and procedures
• Request necessary parts and equipment in advance to ensure the installation truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete each job
• Responsible for the vehicle upkeep, record logs, and driving of vehicle; valid driver's license required
• Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field
• Properly connect equipment
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• EPA2+ years of HVAC Install experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Clean driving record
• Time management skills
• Basic software understanding
• Self-motivation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade
• The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience
• The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
• The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively
• The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical functions

Qualifications

• Service Titan experience (preferred)
• Sales experience (preferred)
• HVAC Service experience (preferred)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing
• Occasional lifting up to 150 pounds
• Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and vibration
• Frequent exposure to noise levels in the work environment

Compensation & Hours

• Hourly + Piece Pay
• Hours: 700 a.m. - 500 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
