HVAC - Lead Install Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform the removal, installation, and startup of new residential HVAC systems.
• Work closely with fellow Installation Technicians to provide clients with excellent service as outlined in department policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of clean-up before leaving any job site.
• Ensure all necessary touch-up work and clean-up is completed before leaving the job site.
• Work as a 2-person team to ensure timely and accurate service to clients in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Request necessary parts and equipment in advance to ensure the installation truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete each job.
• Be responsible for the vehicle upkeep, record logs, and driving of the vehicle; valid driver's license required.
• Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• 2+ years of HVAC Install experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Clean driving record
• Time management skills
• Basic software understanding
• Self-motivation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade
• The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience
• The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
• The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively
• The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical functions

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License, 2+ years of HVAC Install experience, 1+ years of leadership experience, Clean driving record, Time management skills, Basic software understanding, Self-motivation, High School diploma or equivalent, Excellent customer service skills, Basic mechanical aptitude, Basic computer skills, The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade, The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience, The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions, The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively, The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc., The ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Preferred Qualifications: Service Titan experience, Sales experience, HVAC Service experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 150 pounds.
• Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, vibration, noise levels in the work environment.

Compensation & Hours

• Hourly + Piece Pay
• Hours: 700 a.m. - 500 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
