HVAC Journeyman - Service Technician

Doll Services is a locally owned and operated company dedicated to continuous process improvement, cutting‑edge approach, and the newest leading‑edge technologies in facilities management, delivering comprehensive mechanical solutions. We provide service, maintenance, design, building and installation of custom HVAC systems. This position is for a St. Louis County Journeyman Service Technician, performing service and repairs on commercial heating/cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. As a professional HVAC technician you will maximize lead opportunities, adhere to company goals of 100% work satisfaction, observe safety measures, and present a professional attitude and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on commercial heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation systems
• Carry out maintenance on a wide variety of commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Provide excellent customer service
• Provide feedback to the Service Manager regarding technical training needs
• Maximize lead opportunities
• Adhere to company goals of 100% work satisfaction
• Observe company safety measures
• Present a professional attitude and appearance

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 5+ years commercial HVAC service experience
• St. Louis County Journeyman License, or willingness to obtain once employed
• Boiler maintenance and repair experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPA Universal Certification
• Ability to work from a 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
• Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance
• Operate scissor and genie lifts safely
• Possess industry‑standard tools

Desired:

• Certification of completion from an HVAC technical school or 2‑year degree
• Willingness to continue education in specialty HVAC equipment
• Daikin and/or Mitsubishi VRF/VRV certification
• Chiller maintenance experience
• Walk‑in cooler service and maintenance experience

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.

Pay

$40.00 – $48.40 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime
