HVAC Insulation Lead

About the role

Responsibilities

• Assisting with other duties as needed.
• Lead and supervise insulation crews on residential job sites.
• Team Leadership: Direct and supervise a crew of 2-3 installers, ensuring everyone follows the scope of work and finishes on schedule.
• Air Sealing & Weatherization: Identify and seal air leaks using foam or caulk. Install insulation materials (fiberglass loose fill, batt insulation etc.) according to specifications.
• Operate and drive company truck with large trailer safely and efficiently. Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials.
• Ensure all work meets company standards and local building codes.
• Train and mentor team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Reporting: Complete daily paperwork, inventory management, and reports on team performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of insulation experience.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Experience driving a truck with a large trailer (required).
• Able to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, etc.).
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in confined spaces for long periods of time.

• Strong knowledge of insulation materials and air sealing techniques.
• Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes.
