HVAC Insulation Lead

We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Insulation Technician to join our team of creative and energetic employees dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day.

About the role

Our Insulation Technicians educate customers on product options, remove and replace insulation, and install add-on accessories while providing quality work. This role also serves as a mentor and coach to both apprentice and entry-level technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise insulation crews on residential job sites.
• Direct and supervise a crew of 2-3 installers, ensuring adherence to the scope of work and schedule.
• Identify and seal air leaks using foam or caulk.
• Install insulation materials (fiberglass loose fill, batt insulation, etc.) according to specifications.
• Operate and drive a company truck with a large trailer safely and efficiently.
• Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials.
• Ensure all work meets company standards and local building codes.
• Train and mentor team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
• Complete daily paperwork, inventory management, and reports on team performance.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of insulation experience.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Experience driving a truck with a large trailer (required).
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, etc.).
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physical stamina to work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance, clean uniform, and work shoes.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of insulation materials and air sealing techniques.
