About the role
Sobieski New Homes is seeking a full-time Residential New Construction HVAC Installer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing heating and cooling systems in new residential constructions, assisting in training HVAC helpers, and contributing to the growth of the company.
Responsibilities
- Install heating and cooling systems in new residential constructions
- Train HVAC helpers to ensure quality installations
- Contribute to the success of a growing company
Qualifications
- Licensed as a journeyman (preferred)
- 3+ years of new home construction experience
- Knowledge of applicable state codes
- Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outside in various weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces
- Own hand tools regularly used by HVAC mechanics
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated and career-minded
- Works well as part of a team
- Deals courteously and tactfully with customers and fellow workers in the construction trades
- Enjoys mentoring others
- Committed to doing quality work and continuously improving skills
