Responsibilities
- Layout boots and ductwork from dimensioned drawings to promote accurate installation
- Read and understand blueprints, drawings and product data for installation
- Install ductboard with proper joints, tape and mastic
- Install snaplock duct, flex duct, aluminum exhaust duct and vent caps/x-vents
- Communicate material needs effectively to complete job scope
- Braze, flare or swadge refrigeration copper
- Perform thermostat, float switch and low voltage wiring installations per plans and specifications
- Install wall-hung, vertical and horizontal FCU’s and AHU’s
- Install supply, return and linear grilles/registers/diffusers
- Install roof racks and set condensers/wire thermostat to condenser
- Prioritize a safe work environment for themselves and others
- Take timely action to effectively solve problems, using established policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of HVAC installation experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Current driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation
- Able to work with others
- Able to handle stress and work effectively under pressure
