HVAC Installer

MPE Services is the local leading provider of heating & air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing services for residential and commercial clients in North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Installer skilled in new unit installation. You will guide and advise customers to select the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs. Customer satisfaction, safety, and quality are top priorities. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, guide, and train junior technicians and apprentices on best field practices
• Ensure all field repairs and installations meet code requirements, safety regulations, and high-quality standards
• Use mobile devices to log accurate service records, job notes, and invoicing in ServiceTitan software
• Provide precise labor and material estimates for repairs, upgrades, and installations
• Maintain a highly organized, fully stocked service truck with adequate inventory
• Communicate with management, dispatchers, and team members to ensure consistent workflow
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies and after-hours situations promptly
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Work in confined spaces as required

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience as an HVAC installer (5+ years preferred)
• Valid EPA certification (required); NATE certification (a plus)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving history
• Leadership mindset with a passion for mentoring junior technicians
• Exceptional communication skills and respect for customers and their property
• Ability to work after hours, weekends, and holidays with short or no notice

Pay

$25–32/hour plus overtime and incentive opportunities

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
