HVAC Installer

About the role

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Maintain existing systems through regular inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople to ensure system functionality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• At least 2 years of related experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, including but not limited to boilers, chillers, ductwork, and refrigeration units.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Experience with safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing.

Pay

$18 - $25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Variable hours to accommodate client needs, typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work.
