HVAC Installer

Successful candidates will perform a wide variety of HVAC installations in the residential and commercial market. This position offers potential for growth within our family-owned company. Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning and heating systems in residential and commercial environments in accordance with current codes.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.
• Communicate effectively with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Promote products and services to customers.
• Produce and maintain organized records and reports.
• Maintain company vehicle in clean and proper working order with an organized inventory of HVAC repair necessities.
• Ensure company tools are used safely, maintained properly, and accounted for.
• Provide own tools to perform installations on HVAC systems.
• Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities.
• Perform other similar duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC installation.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and on-call rotation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Efficient time-management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with national, state, and local HVAC code regulations.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate from a trade/vocational school HVAC program or other construction-related program preferred.
• EPA Certification 608 Certification.
• Physical ability to work in ceilings, crawl spaces, chases, and other confined work areas.

Pay

$40–45 per hour, depending on experience.
