HVAC Installation Technician

Day in the Life

• Wakes up early to start the day
• Prepares for the day by brushing teeth and dressing professionally
• Arrives at the shop early to prepare for team success
• Meets with the Installation Manager to discuss previous day's work and plan for the day ahead
• Visits the customer home promptly to provide exceptional service
• Receives real-time coaching and support
• Collects payment from the customer
• Transfers to the warehouse to prepare for the next day's work

Job Duties

• Learns and implements One Hour service system, procedures, and ethical practices
• Accurately diagnoses problems of client's HVAC systems
• Effectively recommends service and repair options to convert opportunities into sold work
• Performs service, maintenance, and repairs with a less than 1% callback ratio
• Manages time and inventory effectively to optimize profitability
• Maintains a neat work area and inspects for cleanliness after each job
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring it is clean both inside and out

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years HVAC and installation experience
• Proficiency in residential HVAC services including gas furnaces, heat pumps, oil boilers, geothermal, IAQ, installation, maintenance, and service
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to take initiative and lead the team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Pay

The Lead Installation Technician is compensated between $60,000.00 and $100,000.00 per year. Compensation varies by franchise location.
