HVAC Installation Specialist – Residential & Light Commercial

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime available

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and light commercial HVAC system installations according to company standards
• Perform equipment changeouts, replacements, and new system installations
• Install and modify ductwork including fabrication, repairs, and adjustments
• Properly use HVAC tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments
• Complete startup procedures, system testing, and ensure equipment operates correctly
• Perform system checks including airflow verification and basic balancing procedures
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean, organized job sites
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain installation details
• Provide solutions and recommendations that support customer satisfaction
• Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience
• Strong residential HVAC installation background with light commercial experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record
• EPA Certification required
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation practices, and safety procedures
• Experience with ductwork layout, fabrication, and installation
• Understanding of low-voltage wiring and HVAC controls
• Ability to read job requirements and complete installations accurately
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC codes
• Professional communication skills and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to provide personal hand tools and maintain equipment

Preferred Experience

• Experience installing communicating HVAC systems
• Experience with inverter-driven equipment
• Experience troubleshooting installation-related issues
