Overview
Airco are looking to recruit an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, with a positive and pro-active approach to support our growing Installations team in Hull. We work for a prestigious customer base in a wide range of sectors including; pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, telecoms, education, IT, retail, healthcare & local authorities. What Will You Do….
- Install a range of air conditioning & refrigeration equipment including but not limited to: split systems, multi split systems and VRV/VRF systems within clients premises.
- Maintain high quality standards.
- Communicate with the necessary stakeholders when required.
- Complete any and all necessary paperwork.
- Work in a safe and controlled manner, following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements.
- Support the development of Junior and Apprentice engineers.
- Review RAMS produced and ensure you manage and maintain any risk, controls in the working environment to maintain colleagues and the public's safety.
- Conduct onsite risk assessments before completing any work.
- Raise project concerns with project manager.
Who Are We Looking For…..
- A highly experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
- An individual who has previously worked with VRV’s, Coldrooms, Close Control and Chilled water systems.
- You will be used to working unsupervised.
- An individual who has good interpersonal skills to be able to build relationships with clients.
- You will have a high level of electrical competence including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuits.
- You will have a "can do" attitude, you will enjoy working to deadlines, be focused, passionate about your work and have the ability to work under pressure when needed.
- You will be willing to work away from home (if required), be flexible with your working hours and work patterns as night work may be required occasionally.
- Full Driving license.
