Engineer - HVAC

This position maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs all HVAC and mechanical equipment on property while delivering professional, personalized guest service that aligns with the Company’s brand standards and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity).

Responsibilities

• Read schematics and wiring diagrams, troubleshoot and repair all types of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Perform HVAC heating and cooling, vent, and air conditioning maintenance and repair.
• Repair air handlers and VAV boxes.
• Conduct water treatment for cooling towers, boilers, water softeners, and closed loop systems.
• Maintain boiler and chiller operation and associated equipment.
• Respond to fire alarms.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
• Operate and repair stand-by generators.
• Maintain and repair pumps and pressurized water systems.
• Work holidays, weekends, and on-call for emergencies.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• 3 years of Journeyman HVAC/Mechanical experience.
• EPA certification.
• Basic electricity and plumbing knowledge.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications; Spa Soft experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for position-specific tasks.
• Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; ability to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and management.
• Minimum age requirement: 21.
