HVAC Install Mechanic II

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Seasoned Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Independently install equipment and complete paperwork daily, recording materials used on each job in an accurate manner.
• Cookordinate with general contractors in other trades on installing equipment and duct work.
• Ability to layout roof curbs.
• Ability to fabricate duct fittings and lay out job without supervision.
• Ability to read blueprints and lay out duct.
• Create a Material list off of blueprints.
• Perform all jobs with safety first in mind.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in install mechanic.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Experienced with stick welding and TIG.
• Visual acuity sufficient to read instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, to install and replace HVAC equipment and parts.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment.
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
• Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and ability to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects.
• Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures.
