About the role

Ace Hardware Home Services offers residential maintenance and home repair services including plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, handyman, and painting. This position supports our HVAC team under the guidance of a Lead HVAC Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs
• Keep accurate records of work completed
• Deliver a positive, professional experience to every customer
• Support the team with day-to-day tasks and special projects as needed

Requirements

• 1–3 years of HVAC maintenance, service, or installation experience
• Strong interest in growing your HVAC career and customer service skills
• Willingness to invest in personal tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow directions (verbal and written)
• Positive, professional attitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction from technicians and supervisors
• Basic safety awareness when working with tools and job sites

Physical & Work Requirements

• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and on rooftops
• Able to safely use ladders and basic tools
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (with assistance)
• Basic skills such as reading a tape measure

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC trade school certification
• EPA Universal Certification

Pay

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour. The pay range may be higher based on education and experience.
