HVAC Install Apprentice - Dayton

About the role

Thomas & Galbraith is expanding to a new Dayton location and seeks an HVAC Install Apprentice to work alongside the HVAC Lead Installer. The role focuses on delivering high-quality HVAC system and product installations while maintaining smooth, profitable project flow with a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time daily to receive direction and prepare truck and materials.
• Follow established installation procedures and processes.
• Assist the Lead Installer in maintaining truck inventory.
• Properly tear down and recycle equipment and materials from the previous day’s jobs.
• Be available to arrive early or stay late as workload and seasonal demands require; mandatory Saturdays during peak season.
• Follow the Lead Installer’s direction while working inside clients’ homes.
• Safely and efficiently complete all other assigned duties.
• Pursue ongoing training and one-on-one coaching to develop skills.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work toward EPA Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Commitment to obtain NATE Core Certification within one year.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and walk at various intervals.
• Ability to regularly lift loads up to 75 pounds.
