HVAC Install Apprentice

About the role

Allen Service provides home services including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC services. We have been serving Fort Collins residents for over six decades and are now expanding to the Denver Metropolitan area. We are seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Work with various HVAC equipment manufacturers, system parts, and mechanisms.
• Assist HVAC retrofit specialists in installing premium HVAC systems.
• Upgrade and improve ductwork.
• Replace parts and adjust system controls for better performance.
• Use special tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Follow precise instructions and adhere to job site safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Aid the lead foreman in material and labor tracking.

Requirements

• Preferred HVAC experience.
• Self-motivated with valid driver's license.
• Ability to work on roofs and lifts.
• Basic HVAC knowledge and willingness to learn more.
• Pass a background check and drug test.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs repetitively.
• Working in cramped spaces like attics and crawlspaces, involving bending, crawling, and kneeling.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.
• Must be able to work in different environments that can be hot, cold, dusty, or dirty.
• Physical capability to stand for an 8-hour shift and work for extended periods without becoming overly fatigued.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour.
