HVAC Indoor Air Quality Worker

About the role

Serve, clean, and sanitize all air moving equipment in the District, including air filters, belts, bearings, coils, drain pans, drain lines, equipment housing, related ductwork, mechanical rooms, and mechanical yards.

Assist other craftsmen as assigned.

Work within designated time frames to ensure district buildings are in a condition of operating excellence.

Responsibilities

• Service and clean all air moving equipment in the District.
• Clean and sanitize air filters, belts, bearings, coils, drain pans, drain lines, equipment housing, related ductwork, mechanical rooms, and mechanical yards.
• Assist other craftsmen as assigned.
• Work within designated time frames to ensure district buildings are in a condition of operating excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.
• May be required to successfully complete job ability testing.
• Requires a State of Texas Maintenance Electrician License or Apprentice Electrician License.
• EPA Universal Certification - Preferred.

Special Knowledge/Skills

• Experience using computers or iPad.
• Knowledge to perform in all trade areas.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Prefer 3 to 5 years of experience in general maintenance repairs or new construction.
