HVAC Group Lead

About the role

The HVAC Group Leader assists a team of HVAC Mechanics, ensuring the successful completion of HVAC projects, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks. The leader coordinates day-to-day operations (such as, but not limited to HVAC/AHU, Dust Collectors, Kathabar Systems, Dehumidifiers, Humidifiers Vacuum system, Differential Pressure Monitoring System, BMS, Chillers/Multistacks, Refrigerators/Freezers, Stability Chambers, Heat Exchangers, Pumps), prioritizes work, and ensures compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
• Escalate any issue with inefficiency and utility operation to the supervisor to ensure timely resolution.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Operates and maintains all HVAC and related equipment based on OEM requirements.
• Plans and performs preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance.
• Performs routine inspections to determine and perform necessary repair maintenance work to prevent breakdown of utilities and associated equipment.
• Reviews and Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Education: High School or GED - Required
• Experience: 4 years or more in Facility Maintenance. Experience in a pharmaceutical, production and/or laboratory environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools and equipment.
• Able to observe, record, and report unsafe working conditions.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and schematics as they relate to building and utilities services systems.
• Able to follow orders and complete work assignments with a minimum of supervision.
• Able to apply methods, practices, and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, repair, renovation, and minor construction of buildings and utilities.

Benefits

Additional Requirements: This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test. The base salary for this position ranges from $40.00 to $50.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Pay

The base salary for this position ranges from $40.00 to $50.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.
