Responsibilities

• Ensure morning process is carried out properly by all install personnel to promote smooth starts to installs.
• Visit job sites to check on installs, boost job quality, and provide assistance as needed.
• Assist with resolving upset customers.
• Provide coverage for the metal shop role when needed.
• Offer temporary assistance to the install manager while they are out of the office.
• Identify new training opportunities and practices to grow the department and improve install practices.
• Enforce safe work practices in the warehouse and on job sites to keep technicians safe.
• Cross‑train in the complete sales and installation processes to perform any related tasks as needed.
• Be available by phone to all technicians for support during issues, including start‑up.
• Gather and provide feedback for the 8‑10 employees you manage to ensure proper development and coaching.
• Conduct job‑site visits with any Sales Advisor/Selling Tech when needed.
• Assist with maintaining the installation schedule to ensure all jobs are scheduled and executed on time.
• Design ductwork for ductwork jobs and direct the team during installation.
• Continue strengthening the relationship between Sales and Install.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in HVAC install and/or HVAC service.
• Boiler and/or Geothermal experience is a plus.
• Impeccable customer service skillset.
• Effective problem‑solving skills to overcome obstacles.
• Ability to handle stressful situations on the fly with a cool, collected manner.
