HVAC Field Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and oversee front-line employees, including organizing schedules and conducting performance evaluations.
• Handle discipline and termination in accordance with company policy.
• Collaborate with managers and supervisors to coordinate departmental activities.
• Collect, evaluate, and analyze production data to identify and correct inefficiencies in processes, materials, equipment, or skills.
• Regularly inspect and evaluate products for quality and defects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational safety, health, and operational regulations.
• Develop and implement procedures for a safe work environment.
• Collaborate on budget development and execution.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• EPA Certification required.
• Well-rounded knowledge of residential electrical and AC operations.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with desktop computers, laptops, and tablets.
• Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local codes.
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent industry work experience; Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• At least three years of supervisory experience highly preferred.
• Customer service experience handling escalated situations.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the facility.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
• Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
