HVAC Estimator

About the role

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with one of the leading Commercial & Industrial HVAC Manufacturers Representatives within Illinois. Our client is well established in the area with many long-term clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, quotations, proposals, and supporting documentation for HVAC projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to ensure complete and accurate project pricing.
• Organize and maintain project documentation and estimate files.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, engineers, and consultants.
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to help customers select the best solutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of HVAC product offerings, applications, and capabilities.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment submittals and process customer orders.
• Coordinate order releases and track project deliveries.
• Communicate shipping updates and assist with expediting orders when necessary.
• Support warranty claims, shipping issues, and customer service requests.
• Assist with other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in the HVAC, mechanical, or construction industry.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of HVAC systems and their applications.
• Experience providing technical support, estimating, sales support, or customer service.
• Strong computer skills and comfort learning web-based software.
