Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for diverse HVAC projects (plan/spec and design-build)
- Analyze drawings, specs, and scopes to determine materials, labor, and timelines
- Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotes
- Work with project managers and leadership to support winning proposals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in mechanical/HVAC estimating
- Pipefitting/duct and refrigeration experience required
- Experience with commercial, municipal, and government bids
- Comfortable doing bids up to 10M
- Proficient with estimating software and takeoff tools
- Excellent attention to detail and deadline orientation
