HVAC Estimator

About the role

Prepare accurate cost estimates for diverse HVAC projects (plan/spec and design-build). Lots of public works estimating. Analyze drawings, specs, and scopes to determine materials, labor, and timelines. Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotes. Work with project managers and leadership to support winning proposals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mechanical/HVAC estimating
• Pipefitting/duct and refrigeration experience required
• Experience with commercial, municipal, and government bids
• Comfortable doing bids up to $10M
• Proficient with estimating software and takeoff tools
• Excellent attention to detail and deadline orientation
