HVAC Engineering Intern

About the role

As an HVAC Engineering Intern, you’ll work within our Engineering team based in our Corporate office in Fond du Lac, WI, contributing to projects that save lives, protect the environment, and ensure personal comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed layouts for HVAC projects under the mentorship of an experienced engineer.
• Observe and support a seasoned engineer in providing oversight of HVAC system layouts, equipment selections, and layouts.
• Provide information to the estimating team relative to bid packages.
• Participate in the review process for HVAC specification development, layout control strategies, and engineering input into operations plans for system commissioning and start-up.
• Work closely with building owners and project managers to provide energy efficiency advice and assistance on new or existing systems.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering program.
• Comfortable working in MS Office programs.
• Passionate about deepening knowledge of mechanical systems.
