HVAC Duct Sheet Metal Worker

Experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic needed to install, fabricate, and repair sheet metal ductwork and related HVAC components for commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Measure, layout, and cut sheet metal accurately for ductwork and HVAC components.Operate brakes and shears to fabricate components.Assemble duct sections and ensure correct fit, alignment, and secure installation.Perform repairs and modifications to existing duct systems.Mentor apprentices and support team skill development.Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.Follow strict safety standards and safe work practices. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic in HVAC/ductwork.Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.Ability to fabricate using sheet metal tools (e.g., brakes and shears).Attention to detail to ensure layout accuracy and proper assembly.Safety-focused mindset and reliable, team-oriented work ethic.
