HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking a full time sheet metal mechanic who can fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings. Work may involve any of the following:

Responsibilities

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Must be able to read blueprints and follow instructions
• Must be able to work 40 hours every week and overtime as needed
• Must have reliable transportation
• Install Ductwork per SMACNA standards, ATU, RTU and Split Systems

Requirements

• Punctual and regular attendance
• Able to work on a team and interact with people
• Able to accurately read a ruler or tape measure
• Able to Install Ductwork per SMACNA standards, ATU, RTU and Split Systems

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to travel to job sites and occasionally have overnight stays
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
• Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Skills

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
• Pass a background check and drug test in accordance to our Company Substance Abuse Policy
• Pass a pre-employment fitness test
