HVAC Controls Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Works closely with building management and engineers to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Install new HVAC components as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent system failures.
• Communicate with building staff to address operational concerns and provide technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HVAC technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Experience with HVAC software and diagnostic tools.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
