Description
The LONG Controls Service Technician supports customers by troubleshooting and programming temperature control systems hardware and software based on customer complaints and concerns, or as identified by Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) software. Using education, experience, and expertise in the commercial HVAC industry, technicians perform emergency and preventative maintenance services on installed systems.
Pay
Pay Range: $36.05 - $39.90 per hr. plus potential profit share.

Qualifications
- Ability to legally operate a company vehicle
- An aptitude for computers and/or mechanical equipment and a strong willingness to learn
- Strong analytical skills in solving software and integration challenges
- Ability to interpret mechanical plans and specifications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and willingness to accept responsibility and accountability
- Strong customer service and analytical skills
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods
- Climbing ladders or scaffolds
- Working in tight spaces
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and function at heights
- Inside and outside work environment
- Consistent in state travel to jobsites
- Hazards: High precarious places, General construction worksite hazards, Possible driving in inclement weather conditions
