HVAC Controls Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Experienced in repair and maintenance of all types of pumps (centrifugal, rotary, positive displacement, submersible, turbine, and reciprocating).
• Capable of repairing or replacing bearings, bushings, impellers, shafts, couplings, packing, drive belts, and sheaves without direct supervision.
• Able to repair or fabricate parts using standard machine shop tools.
• Able to troubleshoot, service, and perform preventive maintenance on fans, all types of pneumatic and electro pneumatic building systems computer control interfaces.
• In accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement, may be required to respond to emergencies on a 24 hour basis and work overtime.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Four years trade school required or equivalent in combination of education and experience required.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years technical training in HVAC field and two years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of all control systems.
• Total of six years of experience in HVAC required.
