Responsibilities
- Experienced in repair and maintenance of all types of pumps (centrifugal, rotary, positive displacement, submersible, turbine, and reciprocating).
- Capable of repairing or replacing bearings, bushings, impellers, shafts, couplings, packing, drive belts, and sheaves without direct supervision.
- Able to repair or fabricate parts using standard machine shop tools.
- Able to troubleshoot, service, and perform preventive maintenance on fans, all types of pneumatic and electro pneumatic building systems computer control interfaces.
- In accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement, may be required to respond to emergencies on a 24 hour basis and work overtime.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Four years trade school required or equivalent in combination of education and experience required.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years technical training in HVAC field and two years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of all control systems.
- Total of six years of experience in HVAC required.
