HVAC Controls / BAS Installer

About the role

At Kelso Building Services, we are seeking experienced and motivated BAS Installers, Controls Electricians, and Low Voltage Electricians to support a large-scale Building Automation System (BAS) installation project in Delta, Utah as well as other work supporting our Automated Mechanical branch in Ogden, UT.

Responsibilities

• Install EMT and rigid conduit
• Pull and terminate low voltage and control wiring
• Mount BAS control panels, sensors, devices, and controllers
• Install and support HVAC controls infrastructure
• Read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and control submittals
• Label and document installed systems
• Support startup and commissioning teams
• Maintain safe and organized work areas
• Cookice with project managers, electricians, and mechanical trades onsite

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in Delta, Utah for the duration of the project, future work across the South West USA
• Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in active construction environments
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn

Preferred Experience

• BAS installation experience preferred
• Low voltage electrical experience
• Commercial or industrial electrical background
• HVAC controls familiarity
• Experience with conduit bending and installation
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reporting location
