HVAC Commercial Installer

About the role
The HVAC Commercial Installer installs commercial and industrial heating and cooling equipment (rooftops, furnaces, central air conditioners, commercial refrigeration equipment).
Responsibilities
- Installing HVAC systems (Hydronic, Steam, Forced Hot Air, and Heat Pumps).
- Maintaining a high standard of mechanical installation practices.
- Brazing and soldering.
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Understanding of proper refrigerant piping installation.
- Basic knowledge of system controls and wiring.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor with good communication ability.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of HVAC experience in HVAC service and installation or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Must be able to pass a post-offer pre-employment drug screen and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history).
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.

- Depending on the position, individuals may need to ride or drive in a vehicle for two or more hours at a time.

Pay
$16 - $40 an hour (depending on experience).
