This role is on-site in Albuquerque, supporting a client in the shipping industry. The position focuses on monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, heating, and cooling.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
- Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards.
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Maintain an energy management program to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Assist with implementing a preventive maintenance program to extend the life of building machinery and systems.
- Perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Review inspections of building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share expertise within your job discipline and across related functions.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE’s RISE values.
- Build consensus and persuade others to reach agreements.
- Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and related teams.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education may substitute for a diploma.
- Universal CFC certification and any other certifications/licenses required by local or state jurisdictions.
- Meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on analyzing multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to explore new perspectives on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills, including calculating percentages, fractions, and financial-related figures.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. No on-call or overtime required.
